Martian Movers moved our business from two small offices in downtown Paso Robles to a large, two-story office on Ramada Dr.
Of the four highly rated local movers who bid the job, they were the most highly rated (Google & Yelp) and the least expensive. They delivered exactly as they promised. Ron, Nate, Jason, and their crew were courteous, professional, conscientious, and fun to have in the office! In the end, they finished on time and charged $200 less than their original estimate for a multiple location, 17k lb move. Three trucks, 7 movers, 1 very satisfied business-to-business customer. I used Yelp & read the reviews for 3 local moving companies. I then called each of the 3 I choose. Martian Movers had a live person who picked up and assisted me immediately. The other 2 companies unfortunately had... read moreI used Yelp & read the reviews for 3 local moving companies. I then called each of the 3 I choose. Martian Movers had a live person who picked up and assisted me immediately. The other 2 companies unfortunately had a voicemail service that I left a message on. Both companies said someone would be in touch in 2-4 hours. Although 1 called within the timeframe I'd already made my decision. The 3rd company took 3 days to return the call. So back to Cal-Movers, Carissa assisted me via the phone & emails.
She was awesome.
2 days later Eddy, Nathan,& Gabe arrived promptly. Now I'd authorized 2 guys but 3 showed up. I then really felt I had no choice and had to use all 3. Initially I felt miffed they'd pulled a fast on on me. However in the long run they were able to complete the job in my minimum time window. Had it been 2 guys I most likely would have gone over. In retrospect I probably paid about what it would have been either way. The guys were pleasant, professional, quick, did not waste any time, and treated my belongings with TLC & respect.
In the end I did have 1 item of furniture slightly damaged & a few scratches on my old places laminate floor. You know it happens and wasn't due to neglect or abuse. This is why you get the "insurance".
I've placed a claim so once resolved I will add if I was satisfied it was taken care of in a fair & timely manner or not. read less

They were very careful and it was clear that they knew what they were doing. The transport of a washer and dryer from a single family residence with a few steps in Los Osos into a mobile home in SLO with steep stairs was seemless.
